What is Combat Infantry?
Combat Infantry is a fast-paced World War II squad level game, employing our wooden blocks. The game system features innovative and interactive rules for Fire Combat, Close Combat, Morale, and Leaders. The game is sophisticated, yet very playable.
You command a German or American infantry battalion, composed of three infantry companies and a heavy weapons company.
“Columbia Block System”
No WWII squad level game can claim accuracy without depicting fog-of-war (keep your head down or die). The wood blocks in this game provide fog-of-war and step reduction with no muss or fuss.
Combat Infantry is a Columbia Block System game. The game information for each piece is facing the player, but not the opponent! This allows a “fog-of-war” aspect of play that allows an extra layer of subtlety to gameplay. It allows for feints, bluffs, and outright surprises!
Maps create challenges!
Combat Infantry comes with two 16.5″ x 22″ geomorphic maps at a scale of 100 meters per hex. A simple change in positioning and a new battlefield has arisen! New maps will be available in the future to add even more depth into play.
Players will have to consistently creative to exploit terrain advantages in each battle.
