Hebon is one of the most remote settlements in Kanday and is governed by a constable for the Earl of Sarkum. The town has never been a major trading port but did enjoy decades of peace and prosperity under the kings of Andur. This golden age came to a violent end in 688 when the conflict between Kanday and Rethem known as Ezar's War reached Hebon. The brutal strife significantly damaged the region's populace and economy, neither of which has recovered. Memories of the conflict are fresh in the minds of the settlement's adult inhabitants, including its constable, who witnessed first-hand the atrocities of the Rethemi army.

This article describes the settlement's history, government, religion, economics, and military forces. It includes color GM and player maps of the settlement, detailed descriptions and floor plans for the keep, and brief descriptions of many local craftsmen and other locations of interest.

This article supplements other Columbia Games products, including Kingdom of Kanday, Sarkum Castle, and other settlement articles.
