Mining has been part of Hârnic culture since the Khuzdul first arrived at Kiraz some 7,000 years ago. Minerals and other valuable materials extracted and processed by miners have played a significant role in the development of human civilizations. Today, most mining on Hârn is done under the purview of the Miners' Guild.
